When should I request a propane delivery?
– We recommend placing a delivery request when your tank is around 30% to allow our drivers ample time to get you on the delivery schedule, especially during peak winter season.
What size tank do I need?
– The size of tank needed depends on home/building size, utilities and other variables. Our team would be happy to consult with you on the ideal tank size for your home or business.
Should I lease or buy a tank?
– Union Propane offers tanks for lease, as well as tanks for purchase. If you lease a tank from Union Propane, there is less up-front cost than if you purchase a tank. Keep in mind your tank can only be filled by Union Propane if it is leased from us.
When is the best time to buy propane?
– Propane prices can often fluctuate throughout the year. Union Propane does our best to offer competitive prices for our customers year-round, but also through specific programs such as “Summer Fill” and “Winter Pre-Buy.” Summer Fill prices typically run June-August and fills can be completed as many times as needed during those months. Winter Pre-Buy contracts are usually announced mid-July and can be completed by September 1 of each year. The pre-purchased propane is then delivered between October and May.

– If you are moving into a home that currently has Union Propane or are looking to switch to Union Propane, welcome aboard! Please complete the new customer form here.
